Introduction:
Our client is a global, innovative and very successful organisation providing professional IT services, outsourcing and consulting.
They require an experienced IT Helpdesk Agent to work at their international customer site in central Tokyo.
Working location: Tokyo
Your responsibilities:
Responding to customers requests via phone, e-mail or chat
Investigating and resolving technical issues, or escalating as appropriate
Working independently in a challenging customer-facing role.
Maintaining knowledge base documentation
Actively participating in team meetings to ensure a consistently high level of service is provided
Requirements:
Native level Japanese and fluent English language skills (TOEIC 700+, BJT Level J2, Business level)
Solid technical experience of more than 1 year
Previous Helpdesk/Service Desk experience, ideally in an IT service environment
Experience using Helpdesk tools and IT ticketing systems is preferable
Excellent communication, listening, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm, desire to learn and develop new skills and passion to solve problems and help people
A recognized IT certification is preferable, i.e. CompTIA A+, MCP
Experience of supporting Windows Server environments, networks, Cisco telephone systems and IT security technologies is preferable
