We are looking for a capable IT Support Technician to coordinate and support a range ofactivities—from simple user assistance to more complex technical tasks. This role involvesproviding on-site and on-call support to end-users within the organization’s desktop computingenvironment, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.Key Responsibilities: Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobiledevices. Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system, phone, or in-person. Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux) and softwareapplications. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues (e.g., monitors, keyboards,docking stations). Set up and configure new employee workstations, including user accounts andpermissions. Maintain asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of IT equipment. Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees from a technical perspective. Support remote users with VPN, remote desktop, and connectivity issues. Collaborate with other IT teams on escalated issues and project-related tasks. Follow security protocols and assist with antivirus, patching, and data protection policies.Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (orequivalent experience). Minimum 1 year of experience in a desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technician role. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking concepts. Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or JIRA. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in macOS or Linux environments. Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: ModernDesktop Administrator). Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote management tools (e.g.,SCCM, Intune, JAMF).Working Conditions: On-site support is required. Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 25 lbs). Flexible schedule or after-hours support may be required during maintenance windowsor emergencies.
