Bachoco USA is seeking a Hatchery Supervisor for the Heavener, OK Hatchery Location.

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 4:00am - 3:00pm

Summary: Provides leadership and direction to hourly employees. Performs administrative duties in preparing and maintaining records as assigned by the hatchery manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Directs hourly personnel in carrying out hatchery assignments.

Performs administrative duties in preparing reports and records to ensure enhanced hatches.

Manages training and safety development of employees to continue their improved skills and knowledge of their jobs.

Keeps hatchery manager informed with timely and sufficient information.

Performs other duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 30 employees in the Hatchery. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver's license and be able to qualify for the company's driving program.

Education and/or Experience: Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in an agriculture, science, business, or related area; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems and Payroll systems.

Other Skills and Abilities: Skilled in interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution, group presentations, and problem solving.
