Job Description

We are looking for an administration support officer to join the team on a fixed-term 12 month contract. Reporting to the HR Coordinator, this role is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR function to assist the department in achieving it’s objectives.

About The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
  • Weekly payroll reporting to proactively identify issues and errors and correct them.
  • Responding to employee queries, including queries relating to pay.
  • Assisting the HR Department with day-to-day administrative requirements including maintenance of employee personnel files, processing employee changes in the HRIS system, general filing and general admin support.
  • Supporting the HR Coordinator in completing end-of-month reporting.
  • Providing support with recruitment and onboarding of new employees, including advertising roles, arranging interviews, booking pre-employment medicals, conducting reference checks, organising new starter uniforms etc.
  • Assistance with processing invoices and doing accruals.

Roster and Location

  • Monday to Friday dayshift roster
  • Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)

About You

  • At least 3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Payroll experience is desirable but not essential
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work in a team
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent planning and organising
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn
