If you enjoy turning complex problems into clear, actionable plans and want to be a key player in driving success in the payments industry, this role is for you.What Part Will You Play?Work closely with our product managers to understand the product roadmap and delve deep into concepts that need to be developed into new products and features.Work as part of an agile scrum team to deliver high quality business solutions for the key stakeholdersEngage with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify, develop, document, validate and endorse the requirements of their domain, demonstrating Agile behaviours that emphasis collaboration, delivery, reflection and improvement and deliver internal training for new features to team members and end users by identifying needs, preparing materials and delivery as neededBe responsible for providing multi-disciplinary teams with user stories and coaching to define the business driven acceptance criteria and test cases. Proactively support the uplift of Agile, product focused practices and foster a culture of continual service improvementConsult with and advise product managers when defining product release content and timeline, applying product development principles, innovative thinking and a focus around the customer & user experienceAssist with the elaboration of the user stories and requirements, supporting team members with their work where requiredParticipate in and facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals: Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-up, Iteration / Release Planning, Showcases / Sprint Review, RetrospectiveProvide subject matter expertise in specific functional area(s) for assigned Scrum team(s)What Are We Looking For in This Role?Technical SkillsDemonstrated ability to undertake business analysis within an Agile/PDLC environment with experience in requirement elicitation, gathering, documentation and managementDemonstrated ability to facilitate groups across multiple disciplinesDemonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, including taking initiative, providing regular updates on your work, seeking and providing support as requiredDemonstrated functional and conceptual understanding of technical concepts, as well as the proven ability to quickly learn new business domains and technical applicationsDemonstrated ability in creatively solve problems and try new approaches to achieve work outcomes, leveraging a strong analytical mindsetDemonstrated negotiation and influencing skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders and users in the provision of advice, guiding decision-making and seeking cooperation in the delivery of servicesExceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver technical and business reports and proposals for all levelsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's DegreeA minimum of 4 years of experience in a Business Analyst role or similar; experience within the payments industry is highly favorable.Familiarity with agile methodologies and best practices, more specifically scrum ceremonies. Working towards or in possession of a business analysis professional qualification (CBAP)What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities?Strong Analytical & Decision Making Skills: You have the ability to dive into data, spotting trends, and uncovering insights that help make smart, solution-focused decisions.Experience with Agile Methodologies: Youre familiar with Agile/PDLC practices and are confident in being a part of ceremonies like sprint planning, retrospectives, release planning and more.Documentation: You know how to create and maintain relevant documentation, including user stories, use cases, process diagrams, and product user guides.Supervision - Ability to work proactively with minimal instruction on day-to-day work, but general instructions on new assignmentsProblem-Solving: You have a talent for identifying in-efficiencies and coming up with creative and innovative solutions that improve business processes.MS Office & Flowcharting - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. Familiar with several common drawing techniques using Visio or UMLTechnical Proficiency: You understand the tools and technologies that matter, such as data visualisation software, product management tools, and database systems.
