SOCAR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support our human resources team in Baku. The HR Specialist will be responsible for a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and training.
Responsibilities:
Managing the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers
Conducting new employee onboarding and orientation programs
Maintaining employee records and ensuring data accuracy
Assisting with employee relations issues and investigations
Coordinating training and development programs
Administering employee benefits programs
Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of experience in human resources
Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
Fluency in Azerbaijani and English
Position Goals & Objectives:
To provide value and service with expertise to team members.
Key Activities: Provide high level customer and services to internal/ external business partners regarding general information. Maintain highly confidentiality as assigned. Handle incoming customer service to staff. Research/resolve customer or staff grievances (issues. Complaints), escalating problems as assigned and/or making recommendation. Research all new programs including costs to be approved for reimbursement. (ie – Tuition). Complete projects or tasks, maintaining data (personnel updates or employee relations documents or staff transactions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s in human resources, economics, political, organization behavior; other
EXPERIENCE:
Five+ years direct industry related work experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS: Highly developed people, business management. Proven administrative expertise within HR environment – employee training – development Solid knowledge employment. State Labor Laws with State Department – Agency for workforce (work). Excellent time / project mgt / coordination. Analytical ability: financial & administrative reports interpretation.
Good verbal/written skills
Excellent Computer.
