We are looking for a driven, analytical, customer-obsessed Human Resources Assistant to join our team. Amazon is seeking a passionate and dynamic HR Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will perform HR-related duties on a professional level and work closely with the HR team in supporting the Fulfilment Centre. This position will be based in Illescas and will support several locations across Spain. You should not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment; hence we expect you to be self-directed, motivated and results oriented. Responsibilities include:
· Administer employee-related documentation, such as contracts of employment, using HR systems.
· Responsible for Workday (HR system) transactions as well as HR documentation.
· Maintaining employees’ HR files.
· Support in Payroll activities.
· Coordinating new starter inductions.
· Preparing and analysing data and HR reports (absences, headcount reports, attrition etc)
· Administration and tracking of leaves of absences in compliance with the Spanish regulation and company policy (maternity, paternity leaves, etc).
· Manage and provide HR Advice through an email ticket system
· Ownership of Occupational Health topics to coordinate visits and reporting data.
· Supporting other employee life-cycle processes, including those relating to performance management, absence management and flexible working.
· Actively identifying process improvements, participating in continuous improvement projects, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
· Assist in communication and rollout of new HR programs.
· Responding to first-line queries from employees across all business groups within the employee population.
· Support site compliance with country legislation and Amazon policies and procedures.
· Work effectively with the local HR team and other support functions such as payroll, benefits, HR Services and global HR teams.
· Provide other administrative support to the HR Team as needed, including but not limited to general office support and note taking
· Contribute to HR projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field.
· Fluency in both written and verbal communication in Spanish and English
· HR administration experience within a fast paced environment.
· Demonstrable knowledge of Spanish labor law
· Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel expertise is an important pre-requisite. Ability to learn HR Systems quickly.
· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member.
· The desire to participate in process improvement initiatives to simplify and improve the service for employees.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous HR Shared Services experience is desirable
· Experience in dealing with volume recruitment will be highly valued
