Salary Range: $49.75 per hour incl 14% super (TRDC8 - AU $1,655 per week + Super) + OT + Benefits (Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions)
Work type: Permanent Full-time - 38-hour week, nine-day fortnights - Day & Afternoon shifts
Location: Rochedale Metro, Willawong , Garden City (Upper Mount Gravatt) or Carina Garages Positions available at all locations
The Role
Our Bus Garages are staffed 365 days a year with staff working a nine-day fortnight on a Monday Friday roster and the ability to do additional paid overtime (before or after rostered hours) and optional weekend work. Our Bus mechanics enjoy a safe, supportive environment with the potential to earn over $130k/year, with overtime.
perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on a variety of our buses
fault finding, diagnosing and repairing problems as required
maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and hydraulic systems
repair tasks such as parts replacement, rebuilding, and adjustments to keep our fleet operating at optimum levels.
To be successful you will have
hold a trade certificate Level III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technology
hold a C class licence
ability to diagnose & fault find mechanical and electrical problems
ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
You will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment to assess your ability to perform the genuine occupational requirements of the role.
