The role involves overseeing and managing the construction and engineering underwriting portfolio with P&L responsibility while ensuring alignment with the company's strategy and goals. Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the Construction & Engineering portfolio with full accountability for profitability.Conduct risk assessment, pricing, and underwriting for complex projects.Develop and refine underwriting strategies to drive growth and innovation.Collaborate with brokers, cedants, and reinsurers to deliver tailored solutions for complex risks.Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for portfolio expansion.QualificationsDemonstrated ability in risk analysis and mitigation.Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.Solid understanding of the reinsurance industry, particularly in Construction & Engineering.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.Ability to thrive in an international environment with strong problem-solving skills.
