Geopolitics Forecaster (AI Research Project) Full-time Job

This role is for one of our clientsA leading AI research program is seeking experts in geopolitics to contribute structured, data-backed predictions on global political developments. This project-based role involves working alongside top forecasters to help improve the strategic reasoning capabilities of next-generation AI systems.RequirementsKey Responsibilities Develop probabilistic forecasts on geopolitical events, international risks, and regional developments Provide clear, well-structured written reasoning with supporting sources and analytical frameworks Use open-source intelligence to assess political, military, and diplomatic situations Collaborate with other domain experts to cross-evaluate and refine forecasts Contribute to the design, quality standards, and evaluation of forecasting tasks Ideal Qualifications Background in political science, international relations, intelligence studies, security studies, or related fields Prior experience in forecasting platforms or tournaments (e.g., GJ Open, Metaculus) is preferred Ability to distill complex geopolitical information into structured insights Strong writing, analytical thinking, and research abilities Up-to-date knowledge of global affairs, international conflicts, and geopolitical trends Project Details Fully remote and asynchronous — flexible work hours Time commitment: 10-20 hours per week Compensation & Engagement Compensation range: $105-140 per hour (for U.S.-based contributors) Independent contractor role
