OverviewOur client is a highly active investment firm operating across venture capital, private credit and growth-oriented private equity, with a key focus on technology, fintech and platform businesses across the MENA region and beyond. They are seeking a Finance Analyst / Associate to join their Abu Dhabi office and play a pivotal role in the financial management of the firm’s investment business.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a core member of the finance team, overseeing the firm’s day-to-day financial operations and driving forward its financial planning and control agenda.Collaborate with external stakeholders (fund administrators, banking partners, bookkeeping providers) to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial processes.Lead the audit cycle by coordinating with external auditors and ensuring timely delivery of audited results.Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; develop and present investor reports at regular intervals.Drive the annual budget and cash-flow forecasting process; produce monthly management accounts and monitor liquidity across the firm.Track, analyse and report on portfolio companies’ financial performance, assist in valuation updates and monitor portfolio cash flows.Review, implement and enforce financial policies and procedures; ensure transaction records, bank reconciliations and firm-wide cash management are accurate and up-to-date.Process invoices, salary payments and bank deposits; reconcile accounts and support the finance team in delivering financial transparency and discipline.Candidate Profile & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from a recognised institution.At least 2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or a similar role (experience within a Big 4 practice is preferred).Professional qualification (e.g., CA, ACA, ACCA, CFA, CPA) is strongly desirable.Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.Hands-on experience with financial systems and toolsAdvanced MS Excel skills and comfort with data analysis.Solid understanding of financial regulations and tax procedures.Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong ethics, meticulous attention to detail, ability to handle confidential data and take ownership of deliverables.Self-starter mindset with a team-oriented attitude; ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required.OpportunityJoin a dynamic finance function within a leading investment firm at a compelling growth stage.Gain exposure to high-growth technology and platform investments across the region.Opportunity to make a tangible impact in a hands-on role spanning accounting, investor reporting, forecasting and portfolio oversight.Remuneration package 20 000 AED/month +bonus.
