ECommerce Developer at AOTT

We are looking for an experiencedECommerce Developerwho is capable of building high-quality eCommerce solutions and representing AOTT in front of clients as a trusted technical advisor.

As anECommerce Developer, you'll be responsible for crafting high-performing shopping experiences that help our clients grow their businesses. You'll be the main technical point of contact for projects, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.

At AOTT, we expect you to take full ownership of the solutions you develop, from planning to deployment. Your commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting project expectations is essential.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in ahybrid work environment, can work independently, and is open to working with various technologies beyond eCommerce platforms, including backend scripting.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, customize, and optimize eCommerce solutions using platforms like Shopify, SuiteCommerce, BigCommerce, or WooCommerce.

- Act as the primary technical point of contact for client projects, providing guidance and solutions tailored to their needs.

- Work closely with AOTT's Team and clients to translate business requirements into functional eCommerce solutions.

- Build and maintain integrations between eCommerce platforms and third-party services (ERPs, CRMs, payment gateways, etc.).

- Ensure performance, security, and scalability best practices are applied to all eCommerce solutions.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest eCommerce trends, technologies, and best practices.

- Be open to working with other technologies beyond eCommerce platforms, including backend scripting and custom development.

Requirements:

-Proven commercial experiencein eCommerce development, with hands-on expertise in at least one of the following platforms:

- Shopify

- SuiteCommerce

- BigCommerce

- WooCommerce

- Strongfront-end development skills(HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frameworks like React or Vue.js is a plus).

- Experience working withAPIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively with clients.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Familiarity withversion control systems(Git, Bitbucket).

Plus points:

- Knowledge ofbackend development, including scripting and server-side logic:

- SuiteScript (for NetSuite customization and integrations)

- Open-source backend scripting (Node.js, PHP, or other relevant technologies)

- Prior experience withheadless commerceor custom eCommerce solutions is a plus.

- Experience working in an agency or consulting environment is a plus.

This position requires the candidate to be able to bill to AOTT as a Contractor (SAS or unipersonal).
