Driver / Logistics Assistant Full-time Job

Overview: Louis Berger, an WSP company is looking for a Driver/ Logistics Assistant to join our team in Guatemala. The Driver/Logistics Assistant is responsible for safely transporting project staff and visitors to various locations in Guatemala while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. In addition, the Driver/ Logistics Assistant assists in general office management. This is a full-time position based in Guatemala City.

Responsibilities: Safely transport project staff and visitors to various locations in Guatemala while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ensure that the project vehicle is well-maintained and in good working condition. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor. Clean the project vehicle regularly and ensure that it is presentable at all times. Maintain a log of all trips, including mileage, destination, and passengers. Assist with logistical support for project activities, including deliveries and pickups. Support the general upkeep of the office.

Ensure that the project vehicle is properly insured. Be available for flexible hours and able to travel outside of Guatemala City from time to time. Support on translation activities from Spanish to English.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2+ years experience as a driver is required. Previous experience with International organizations a plus. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Experience maintaining a vehicle and its cleanliness and functionality. Willingness to travel outside Guatemala City, from time to time. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety regulations. Spanish and English fluency required.
