We are seeking a Deputy Principal Educational Psychologist to lead our growing Educational Psychology Service (EPS)! We are a strong and supportive team who meet regularly and work closely together on shared priorities. We are a dynamic and expanding EPS with a range of experienced and newly qualified EPs, as well as Trainee and Assistant EPs. This is a full-time, permanent position and a new post as part of our expanding establishment.

Nottinghamshire EPS uses a strength-based, collaborative and consultative service delivery model. We work to promote social inclusion and social justice for all Nottinghamshire children and young people, but especially for those in the most vulnerable situations. We also deliver training, research and project work to promote early intervention and high-quality support and CPD across a range of education and social care settings. • A dynamic individual who is keen to join a collaborative leadership team.
• Someone who can offer leadership, support and guidance to our educational psychology teams and senior leadership.
• Someone with strong personal resilience and the ability to make decisions and facilitate problem-solving in complex situations.
• Strong application of psychology to support the inclusion of children in vulnerable situations including children with SEND, children in care, previously in care and children with a social worker, children at risk of exclusion from education and children involved in the youth justice system.
