[What the role is]The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.You will be part of a team within the Department of Planning, Organisation & Sustainability (PODS) overseeing resource planning and allocation within Singapore Polytechnic.[What you will be working on]Assist team in the formulation of resource management policies and processes to support a strong resource management culture across the organisationCollection, cleaning and structuring data from various internal stakeholdersDeveloping and refining data processes to ensure timeliness and accuracyPrepare dashboards to support management reporting and policy communications[What we are looking for]Diploma and above in Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics or other adjacent fields will be advantageousAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power BI is required, applicants with coding and programming experience (e.g. Python, R) will be considered favourablyTeam player with strong interpersonal skills, able to maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with various stakeholdersStrong data storytelling instincts, with good attention to detailSelf-starter, able to work independently and proactively
