We are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Customs Clerk - Grade II located in Trincity. The Customs Clerk II is responsible for ensuring all Government trade regulations are followed in the processing and clearing of cargo with full knowledge of the customs regulations and procedures, as well as shipping and insurance requirements for clearances of cargo/containers at the Ports, Airport, and Bonds for both imports and exports. Daily tasks include submitting customs entries, liaising with suppliers and customs officials, and handling customer inquiries related to shipments.Requirements• Valid Grade II Customs Clerk License.• Certification in Procurement/Logistics will be an asset• A minimum of five (5) O’ Levels including Mathematics and English.• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position.• Experience in customs declaration C82/processing of entries (Import and Export)• Must have experience clearing at Piarco, Point Lisas and Port of Spain • Excellent written and oral communication skills with sound interpersonal relations.• Good team player with the ability to work well under pressure.• Must be detail-oriented.• Must have a working vehicle• Must be able to work on Saturdays.
