A Customer Service Representative at CVS Health plays a vital role in helping people on their path to better health. Our Customer Service Representatives are often the first point of contact for our members, providing them with essential support and guidance regarding their pharmacy benefits. In this dynamic role, you will address member inquiries, resolve issues, and offer valuable assistance related to prescriptions, coverage, and more.
Responsibilities:
Responding to incoming calls, emails, and chat messages from members with empathy and professionalism.
Addressing member inquiries regarding prescription benefits, coverage, and claim status.
Resolving member issues and complaints efficiently and effectively, escalating complex issues to appropriate channels as needed.
Providing clear and accurate information to members regarding plan policies and procedures.
Documenting member interactions and issue resolutions in our systems.
Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve the member experience.
Staying up to date on CVS Health policies, procedures, and service offerings.
Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and adherence to service level agreements.
Working in a production environment, focusing on efficiency and accuracy, while continuously looking for opportunities to improve performance.
Training:
To support your success in this role, CVS Health provides a comprehensive, fully-paid virtual training program. We equip you with the tools and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional member service.
You will attend 4 weeks of training to learn policies and procedures of CVS/Caremark
Virtual environment that may be accessed from your home
You will be expected to be on video during the entirety of training to engage with trainers and classmates alike.
After completing our Customer Service Training program, Customer Service Representatives continue their journeys by engaging in various stages of mentorship! These support and performance mentorship programs exist so that there is a supportive system to enhance continuous learning and development to support success at CVS Health.
Schedules
Customer Service department hours vary from 7am to 11pm. Upon completion of training you are eligible for a full time schedule based on business needs within the department.
Required Qualifications:
6 months of work experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency with computer navigation and data entry in a Windows-based environment is crucial.
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare/Insurance knowledge.
Education:
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
