About The Role

As a Credit Officer, you will play an important role in ensuring the efficient management of customer accounts and supporting the organisation’s financial sustainability. You’ll oversee the end-to-end credit management process to maintain accuracy, compliance, and strong customer relationships.

Provide credit management support across all areas of accounts receivable

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records

Support the reconciliation of accounts and investigation of discrepancies

Contribute to efficient billing, collections, and debt recovery processes

Assist in sustaining business cashflow through proactive credit management

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll manage the daily operations of the credit function, ensuring timely processing and resolution of account matters while maintaining a high standard of service and compliance.

Reconcile and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Conduct debt recovery activities including negotiation and payment arrangements

Prepare monthly collections reports and commentary for management

Identify and escalate financial risks or inconsistencies in customer accounts

Process billing runs, direct debits, credit notes, and fee waivers

Support internal departments with receivables processing and account inquiries

Maintain detailed records for auditing and compliance purposes

Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and service quality

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a detail-oriented credit professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates accountability, initiative, and strong customer focus.

Minimum three years’ experience in credit management, accounts receivable, or debt recovery

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills

High level of accuracy and attention to detail under pressure

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics desirable)

Qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred

Commitment to continuous improvement and quality service delivery
