As a Conducting Officer in charge of the Valuation function and Finance (AIFM), you play a pivotal role leading a department of professionals dedicated to ensuring that all valuations are accurate, compliant, and aligned with both internal policies and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in valuation methodologies and financial analysis allows you to assess and validate the fair value of a diverse range of assets, including private equity, venture capital, and other alternative investments.In this position, you collaborate closely with the Conducting Officers and various stakeholders, providing strategic insights that enhance decision-making and drive fundcraft's growth. Additionally, you are responsible for maintaining and updating valuation frameworks and policies, ensuring they adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory landscapes.This position is based in Luxembourg and reports directly to the Head of the AIFM.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the valuation department, ensuring the accurate and timely valuation of funds' assets in accordance with established policies and proceduresDesign and perform valuation assessments and calculationsOversee the development and implementation of valuation methodologies, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirementsReview and validate external data and valuations, challenging assumptions and methodologies to ensure they are appropriate and justifiableCollaborate with the fundcraft team to prepare comprehensive valuation reports, highlighting key insights and recommendations for strategic decision-makingMonitor market trends and developments that may impact the valuation of assets, adapting policies and procedures as necessary to reflect current conditionsFacilitate training and development for other members, enhancing their skills in valuation techniques, financial modelling, and regulatory complianceSupport the integration of new valuation technologies and tools, driving efficiencies in the valuation process and enhancing data analysis capabilitiesFulfil the internal finance responsibility in collaboration with the group's finance teamPrepare reports to the board of managers of the AIFM and participate in CO meetingsCarry and perform the fundcraft way of working, being platform-first driven in line with the company guidelines and internal organisational requirementsRequirementsSkills & Behaviours:Demonstrate extensive knowledge of valuation methodologies (e.g.
