We invite applications from motivated individuals to provide vital administrative support to our Consultants and junior medical staff.In this key role, you’ll ensure all documentation and data concerning patients and their treatment meets the highest Trust standards, supporting the smooth running of our busy clinical departments.Main duties of the jobYou Will BeProviding comprehensive administrative support to Consultants and medical teams. Managing your own workload efficiently, with excellent time management and planning skills.

Handling urgent correspondence, medico-legal reports, and ad hoc requests in line with Trust policies. Maintaining patient confidentiality and managing secure storage of all medical records and computerised information. Scanning and uploading patient medical documents into the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record system.

Assisting clinicians with communications via the Epic system, ensuring letters and attachments are accurately sent. Acting as a key liaison between clinical teams, patients, GPs, and other departments to provide a seamless service. Providing cover for colleagues during periods of absence, ensuring consistent service delivery.

Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally and promptly, meeting departmental targets.
