For more information, visit www.adient.com.At Adient, we are proud to offer hybrid working to our employees, which involves being able to work remotely for up to 3 days per week based on the agreement within specific department.What will your responsibilities be?Support all program purchasing activities within the given Customer Business Unit while ensuring compliance with overall company objectives, strategies and procedures.Coordination of Program Purchasing activities over specific customer business unit to ensure excellent product launchesEnsure smooth project launchesControl and approval of all Program Purchasing activities specified in Program launch system and decisions in line with customer demands and commodity strategiesGuarantee financial control over complex, modular programs from phase 0-5 and over lifetimeEnsure the cost-, quality and time-oriented supply of all required goods, materials, equipment and services under compliance with the respective business plans, budgets and targetsInitiate and support of proper Make or Buy decisionsInitiate and support Value Analysis/Value Engineering activitiesInitiate and support cost optimization/saving projectsProgram team member for a specific number of programsGuarantee compliance with all Adient proceduresManage the Suppliers within the given programs (Request for Quotes RFQ, change management, contract negotiations, payment queries, dispute resolutions etc.)Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?Commercial or technical degreeMinimum 2 years in Automotive (preferably) Purchasing of production materials.In depth understanding of purchasing tools and practicesPC knowledge (MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint),Controlling and cost analysis knowledgeRelevant SAP knowledgeFluent EnglishWhich benefits do we offer?
