Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a results-oriented Business Operations Manager with a background in technology sales/business operations to join the SMB sales team. As a Business Operations Manager you will be a key member of the leadership team supporting the Regional Sales Leaders and their respective sales organizations. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys collaborating with various functions (sales, finance, marketing, HR, etc.), is execution oriented, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will develop strong relationships with your sales stakeholders to understand their priorities and challenges, and proactively propose solutions that will improve their performance. A successful candidate is skilled at solving complex problems, influencing and thinking broadly about optimizing the business operations. Key Responsibilities include:
· Analyze trends/opportunities to improve the organization's effectiveness, influence the right investments, and help scale operations for a fast-growing sales team.
· Be a business partner with sales leaders. Assist with defining business requirements, generating business case to support investments in our resources.
· Collaborate across all functions and departments within AWS, to lead strategic planning efforts including target setting and quota allocation.
· Understand various data sources across AWS and own/improve data processes. Leverage them for sales productivity, analysis, and insights generation.
· Proactively monitor and maintain high quality of data and metrics reporting. Develop key performance indicators, build dashboards to improve team awareness, and enable actions/improvements to optimize the business.
· Develop the documentation of current processes. Identify and analyze process gaps, build a remediation plan, and drive it to resolution.
· Help drive a continuous improvement culture through facilitation of best practices across functional areas within AWS, as well as identification and management of continuous improvement activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of relevant experience in sales/business operations or strategy consulting roles with a technology company.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and quantitative skills. Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
- Proficiency with data visualization and BI tools like Tableau or Amazon Quicksight.
- Ability to deliver on multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com, or similar CRM tools and use of sales data to drive organizational and operational efficiency.
- Solid understanding of sales organizations, sales strategy and levers to drive performance and improve productivity
- Ability to define, implement, and refine sales processes.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL or other programming language
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
