The opportunity

We’re looking for an Audit Staff to join our Assurance team in Azerbaijan. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career with a leading global professional services organization.

Your key responsibilities

Perform audits of financial statements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
Assess internal controls and identify weaknesses.
Prepare audit work papers in accordance with EY methodology.
Assist in the preparation of audit reports.
Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve issues.
Stay up-to-date on new accounting pronouncements and auditing standards.
Develop your technical skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and formal learning opportunities.
Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.

To qualify for the role you must have

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Strong academic record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency in Azerbaijani and English languages.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Experience with auditing software.
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
