Role Description

Full-time, permanent

An established technology integration provider seeking an experienced AV Technician to join their growing team. This role involves the installation, commissioning and servicing of advanced home automation, audio-visual, and networking systems for residential and commercial clients.

This is a field-based role and the individual must have a valid drivers license. Company van will be provided.

Responsibilities may include:

· Install, configure, and commission home automation systems

· Carry out wired and wireless network installations, including setup and optimisation of routers, switches, access points, and other networking hardware

· Install TVs, speakers, amplifiers, and a wide range of audio-visual equipment

· Install and configure automated window treatments, including roller shades and drapery systems.

· Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across AV, automation, and networking systems.

· Complete structured cabling work, including cable runs, termination, labeling, and testing across low-voltage systems.

· Assist withsystem design and pre-sales support

· Coordinate with Project Managers, Interior Designers, Contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of projects.

Requirements:

· 5+ years’ experience as an AV Technician, Home Automation Technician, or similar field-based technical role.

· Hands-on experience with Savant and/or Control4 installation, programming, and commissioning.

· Strong understanding of wired and wireless networking; experience with Unifi is highly desirable.

· Skilled in installing AV equipment, smart home devices and window treatment systems.

· Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

· Valid driver’s license required.
