Associate/Senior Associate - China Corporate Tax - PwC Tax - Hong Kong Full-time Job

A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.Our team helps our clients improve their tax function to control risk and facilitate better decision making.

You’ll focus on helping businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance, increasing post tax profits, and providing application support to achieve the best corporate tax practices.Job Description & Responsibilities • Provide China tax compliance and consulting services to clients in one of the industries:- retail, financial services, trading, technology, manufacturing, transportation or logistics;• Work with a team of professionals on cross-teams and regional tax advisory and consulting projects, such as public listing, merger and acquisition, group restructuring, transfer pricing study, operations review and tax dispute resolutions; and• Structured training will be provided equipping you to become a professional advisorRequirements• University graduate or above;• Qualified member of a professional accounting body is preferred;• Minimum one year of relevant tax experience ;• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus In addition, candidates should illustrate the following personal attributes:• Demonstrates courage and integrity• Acquires and applies commercial and technical expertise by staying up to date in industry and with market trends• Manages projects and economics efficiently; planning and performing work in accordance with client requirements and professional standards• Lead and contribute to team success• Is passionate about client service• Works hard to build and sustain relationships
