Animal Care Agent Full-time Job

About the Role:

Blue Lagoon Island is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Animal Care Team. As an Animal Care Agent, you will play an essential role in supporting the daily care, training, and enrichment of our marine animals - including dolphins and sea lions - while helping to educate guests and promote conservation awareness.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work closely with experienced animal care professionals in one of the most beautiful and unique environments in The Bahamas.

• Prepare and handle animal diets
• Maintain habitats, feeding areas, and pools
• Observe and assist in animal training sessions
• Support guest interactions and educational presentations
• Keep accurate records and monitor animal behavior
• Participate in ongoing training and lectures

• Experience caring for animals (personal or professional)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to swim, dive, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, flexible, and eager to learn
