Analyst, Investment Full-time Job

Transamerica Life (Bermuda) Ltd. is actively expanding its High-Net-Worth life insurance product offerings and expects significant growth in its assets under management. This role will support the Investment team in setting the company’s product-specific strategic asset allocations and generating investment information & reporting on timely basis.Job Responsibilities:Assist in executing investment-related projects e.g. investment/economic research, portfolio structuring, portfolio optimization, etc.Monitor portfolio positions against benchmarks and policy limitsSupport and enhance investment analysis and reportingPrepare materials for and participate in investment-related committee meetingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including ALM, Risk, Finance, and Actuarial to align investment strategies with business objectives.Conduct in-depth investment and economic research using Bloomberg and other financial tools to assist in portfolio structuring and optimization.Participate in discussions with asset managers by preparing thoughtful questions and contributing to investment reviews.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Actuarial or relatedRecent graduate or up to 2 years’ experience in investment/related financeBasic understanding of economic theory and fixed income marketsFamiliar with investment performance measurement & attributionBasic knowledge of portfolio risk management conceptsStrong analytical/problemsolving skills with high attention to detailStrong written and verbal English communication skillsExperience in process automation/workflow optimization in investment/financial servicesVBA and/or Python proficiency (preferred)Able to work in a fastpaced environment, prioritize deadlines, and take ownershipApply
