NAMA's core objective is to obtain the best achievable return for the Irish State from its acquired portfolio. Its work is divided into 3 streams: asset management (active management of borrowers and underlying assets), asset disposals (through a variety of international marketing campaigns) and resolution and recovery (a mix of loan sales, enforcement receiverships, trading operations, restructurings and consensual hand-back arrangements).
