Accountant Full-time Job

Key aspects of the role include:

• Develop and implement robust financial control procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices for Northwest Africa.

• Act as a key user and contributor for operations locally.

• Compiles and presents financial and budget reports.

• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations.

• Auditing documents to substantiate financial transactions.

• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

• Keeping account books and systems up to date.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• Minimum 7 – 9 years of Accounting, Finance, and Business Controlling experience in Algeria, preferably within the Pharmaceutical/FMCG Industry.Audit experience (assurance, tax, corporate finance) is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, financial reporting standards (IFRS), and tax regulations.

• Proficient in financial software, SAP, and project management.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, and French.

• Proven track record of driving financial performance and delivering results.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
