This role involves developing and implementing licensing strategies, negotiating agreements, managing SW audits, collaborating with cross-functional teams like IT, Legal and Finance, and providing expertise on licensing models to support business objectives, ensure cost-effectiveness, and mitigate licensing risks.Role OverviewResponsible for management of software assets within organizationPlanning, monitoring and recording SW license assets throughout their lifecycles:Perform an inventory of installed softwareMatch software installations with licensesEnsure compliance with vendor contracts is in placeIdentifying and mitigating potential risksCreating and maintaining accurate documentationMaintain knowledge on all licensing changesLicense usage and deployment approvalProviding SW license terms and conditionsProactively stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes to adapt licensing strategiesProvide expert advice and training to internal teams on licensing requirements and best practices.Analyse data and market trends to identify optimization opportunities.
