For our branch in Romania we are looking for a Process Specialist with strong process analysis expertise to join our Romanian Process Management Team. In this hands-on role you focus on evaluating current processes, analyzing key metrics, mapping workflows, identifying improvement areas and driving operational efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing and transforming our business processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations that support operational efficiency and better outcomes for our customers. Your peers are a team of process change managers and process consultants located in Amsterdam and Bucharest headed by Nexent Banks Senior Vice President of Process Management. You report directly to the Romanian Head of Process Management and Change Lead. Key responsibilities Develop comprehensive process documentation (context diagrams, process models, workflows). Conduct detailed performance metrics analysis to analyze and evaluate current business processes, identify inefficiencies and performance gaps and determine opportunities for improvement. Report findings and recommendations to stakeholders, senior management and program boards, highlight opportunities for process transformation, and provide insights on potential for operational efficiency, automation and digitalization. Act as a trusted co-pilot to managers and process owners. Lead and drive process redesign and reengineering initiatives, working closely with various departments and facilitating workshops to gather insights and feedback. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition and effective implementation of new workflows, processes, and procedures. Personal skills & qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in process analysis, metrics evaluation, and process mapping. 3 years of Engagement Management and (functional) team leadership. Fluency in Romanian and (business) English. Experience in the banking industry or consultancy is preferred. Familiarity (certification preferred) with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, Whys). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Experience with process mapping methodologies (Customer Journey, BPMN 2.0) and tools (Visio, ARIS, BIC). Experience in an Operations Management capacity is beneficial. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on inclusive dialogue. Ability to work independently while being proactive, prioritizing effectively, and operating under tight deadlines.
