As Director of F&B, you will oversee the full Food & Beverage operation of a new flagship project in the heart of Lisbon, opening in the third quarter of 2026.This role is part of the projects leadership team and will play a pivotal role in operational implementation, the consolidation of standards, and the delivery of an exceptional experience across all F&B touchpoints. This person will be responsible for coordinating all outlets in an integrated manner - restaurants, bars, events, room service and all additional F&B units.We are looking for someone energetic, highly organised, with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality - someone capable of transforming an already defined vision into flawless daily execution.What will you doCoordinate the selection, training, development and evaluation of all F&B teams;Act as a leader and mentor, fostering a culture of hospitality, excellence and accountability;Ensure every team member understands and applies the service and product standards defined for the project;Manage the operation of all F&B outlets, ensuring consistency, quality and smooth service flow;Maintain strong on-the-floor presence, engaging with teams, guests and the day-to-day operation;Build and maintain close relationships with regular guests while cultivating new ones;Promote and strategically position the F&B outlets, both internally and externally;Work closely with Marketing and Sales to attract, negotiate and confirm business in line with annual goals;Control costs, margins and operating expenses through planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control and process optimisation;Monitor and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and performance targets;Ensure the ongoing evolution of the F&B offering, aligned with the projects positioning;Participate in training, events, technical visits and relevant operational initiatives when required;Represent the project with partners, suppliers and strategic stakeholders.What we are looking forProven experience in restaurant and/or hospitality environments (luxury experience strongly preferred);5 to 7 years of progressive experience in F&B management roles, ideally across multiple outlets;Higher education in hospitality management, restaurant management, tourism or a similar field (or equivalent experience);Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different audiences, from guests to internal teams;Strong decision-making capability, exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities;Strong leadership, operational maturity and outstanding problem-solving abilities;Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with partners and suppliers;Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).Sounds like you?
