The project involves collecting soil samples from long-term field experiments across the US, performing wet chemistry analysis to determine the molecular composition of soil carbon, and examining microbial parameters. The postdoc is expected to conduct hypothesis-driven research, collect and analyze data, and prepare manuscripts for publication. Additionally, the postdoc will participate in educational activities outlined in the project, including mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. The projects are interdisciplinary and integrate biogeochemistry, soil ecology, soil microbiology, and plant chemistry in defining plant-microbe interactions and soil carbon cycling.QualificationsPh.D. in soil science, biogeochemistry, or related fields with a strong understanding of soil carbon cycling.Application InstructionsPlease apply at the following URL: https://apply.interfolio.com/176951.Please be prepared to upload the following documents: i) a cover letter highlighting interest in the position and relevant qualifications, ii) CV, iii) two representative publications, iv) contact information of three references and v) Transcript
