Subject matter expert and hands-on team manager of HR Operations

We offer an opportunity to join us as our new HR Operations Manager with responsibility for HR Operations in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. You will be the subject matter expert on employment law and collective agreements, and you will be the key advisor to our leaders and colleagues in the People, Organization and Culture. In addition, you will be the manager of a small team responsible for HR policies, processes and administration building on top of our global Workday HCM system.

You will be responsible for:

HR Operations in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden

Supervising a small HR Operations team

Building, updating and implementing policies reflecting the strategy and culture of Nilfisk

Ensuring efficient administrative processes and compliance to employment law and collective agreements

Advising leaders on employment law and collective agreements, and communicating policies and benefits to managers and employees

The team that you will be responsible for

You will have one direct report in Denmark; a student assistant, and one in Hungary; an HR Operations Specialist who support on administrative tasks and improvement projects. Our excellent shared service center will support you with transactional HR and system support (Workday). You will report to Anne-Christine Lund, Strategic HRBP and Head of HR Nordics and Payroll.

You will be part of a global People, Organization and Culture team of approx. 60 colleagues. You will be based in the head office together with approx. 10 other HR colleagues within Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Rewards, HR Operations and Payroll.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have experience within HR Operations in an international company. We imagine that you have great knowledge or experience within Danish employment law including collective agreements within Danish Industry, and preferably you have studied law, e.g. cand.merc.jur. Furthermore, to thrive in this role, we imagine that you have experience with tasks on a tactical, operational, and administrative level.

As we are an international company with many different nationalities in the office, you can expect to speak English on a daily basis.

We imagine that you are curious on new trends within the area of HR so you can train your colleagues within the new trends. As you will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, employee groups and business leaders from around the world and our international executive leadership team, we imagine that you enjoy building a great relation with your key stakeholders.

You should expect some travel days during a year to the other sites in Denmark and the Nordic countries.

What happens with your application?

We will look at your application and contact you for a phone interview. Hereafter, if there is a mutual match, we will invite you to an interview with the hiring manager. The 2nd interview will be with a Talent Acquisition Partner together with Anne-Christine Lund where the focus is on a feedback session on a personality assessment and aptitude test. You will also meet one of the business leaders you will support. The 3rd and final round of interviews will be an interview with the CHRO.
