As theDirector of Strategy & Operations, you will lead the Operations team, including people, talent, and strategy. You'll also oversee support and growth teams, collaborating with senior leadership to make the company a top workplace and an industry innovator. Your role is crucial in attracting and retaining exceptional talent while providing the foundation for everyone to do their best work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own all internal operations, ensuring peak performance driven by clear strategy and goals
- Develop and communicate well-defined strategy and clear goals across the business
- Improve people processes to maintain best-in-class employee retention
- Work closely with founders to understand and improve company culture and performance
- Align product, marketing, engineering, support, and ecosystem teams towards strategic objectives
- Execute quickly on ideas and iterate, with a strong bias for action
- Lead multiple distributed teams effectively
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience working in a technology startup
- Experience working with founders, executing quickly with a strong product focus
- Strong operational management skills with a passion for delivering results
- STEM background preferred, with a data-driven leadership approach
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple distributed teams
- Experience in strategy consulting or investment banking is a plus
- Deep familiarity with the blockchain industry and Layer 2 networks is advantageous
- Strong program and project management skills
