As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to develop scalable and reliable ETL pipelines, data models, and data warehouses. This role requires a strong understanding of data engineering principles, proficiency in ETL tools and programming languages, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
* Build and optimize data models to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.
* Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and provide data solutions to meet their needs.
* Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering solutions into existing systems and workflows.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvements to our data infrastructure.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on ETL development.
* Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
* Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, or Talend.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
* Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
* Familiarity with data modeling techniques and data warehouse design principles.
* Experience with data quality and data governance practices.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on factors such as experience, education, location, and market data. The pay range is subject to change at any time. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The base pay range is supplemented by a comprehensive employee benefits package, which includes health and welfare benefits, paid time off, and retirement savings plans.
If you are a qualified candidate, you may be eligible for an incentive program (bonus or commission) that is dependent on the terms of the applicable plan.
Base Pay Range:
$96,000.00 - $144,000.00
