Job Description

Maintain a detailed understanding of the Bank’s products and services.

Provide prompt, helpful and accurate information to customers. Take personal ownership in resolving customer issues, queries or complaints.

Seek to understand customer needs and promote available services and alternative channels to meet customer needs.

Manage and resolve customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.

Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints and comments, as well as actions taken.

Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.

Participate in projects and initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.

Handle customer requests for account maintenance, new accounts, and other banking services.

Achieve individual sales targets set by the bank.

Support the Bank’s Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance efforts.

Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to the Bank’s data protection policies.

Identify and escalate priority issues and report any emerging trends or patterns of customer dissatisfaction.

Attend training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and service skills.

Carry out other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or Head of Customer Service.

Qualifications

HND/B.Sc in any discipline.

0 - 1 year experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good listening skills and attention to detail.

Customer-centric attitude.

Ability to handle difficult customers and resolve complaints.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Good problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of banking products and services.
