This involves core research ranging from dissecting earnings releases and regulatory filings to assessing relevant news events, macro trends, modelling financial statements and industry dynamics, performing detailed valuation work, writing research notes and sector pieces and making investment recommendations.Job ResponsibilitiesFollow specific sectors and companies in China onshore convertible bond marketProvide timely analysis and recommendation on covered companies and sectorsFormulate sector strategies and investment recommendationsEffectively communicate thoughts, ideas and analysis in written and oral formMaintaining regular contact with Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (GFICC) colleagues globally, taking part in conference calls and responding to project requestsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsPast experience in China onshore convertible bond research/investment roleAttainment of all necessary regulatory licenses (or any other licenses / qualifications as required) for carrying out Asset Management and other regulated activitiesDemonstrate a strong ability to address risk and be comfortable with risk-takingStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong financial analytical skills Ability to work effectively with colleagues based in around the worldPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsProficiency in EnglishABOUT USJ.P.
