Job Summary

We are seeking reliable, professional, and customer-focused Cab Drivers for one of our premium taxi services similar to Lyft and Cabify. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their desired destinations, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns, and a commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Safe Transportation: Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all local traffic laws and regulations

Route Optimisation: Utilise GPS and local knowledge to determine the most efficient routes, avoiding traffic congestion and ensuring timely arrivals.

Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, including greeting passengers warmly, assisting with luggage, answering inquiries, and ensuring a pleasant journey.

Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned vehicle (interior and exterior), performing daily checks and reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

Fare Management: Accurately calculate fares, process payments (cash, card, app-based), and provide receipts as required.

Communication: Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding pick-ups, drop-offs, delays, or any unforeseen issues.

Documentation: Complete necessary trip logs, mileage reports, and other documentation accurately.

Flexibility: Be available to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as per operational needs.

Required Qualifications

Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid and appropriate driver's license for passenger transportation

Clean Driving Record: A clean and verifiable driving record with no major traffic violations.

Experience: Proven experience as a cab driver, private hire driver, or in a similar professional driving role.

Local Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of streets, routes, and traffic patterns.

Navigation Skills: Proficiency in using GPS devices and mobile navigation applications.

Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with ride-sharing or cab-hailing technology platforms.

Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.

Experience in the tourism or hospitality sector.
