Please click here to apply internally.Baker's Bay Golf & Ocean Club is seeking an Appliance Specialist to join the Culinary Facilities Department.The Appliance Specialist is a vital member of our maintenance team responsible for overseeing the upkeep, repair, and installation of appliances, with a specific focus on kitchen equipment and other related Assets. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of all kitchen and outlet facilities, contributing to the overall comfort and well-being of our members and Employees.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Kitchen Appliances: Perform routine maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial kitchen appliances, such as stoves, ovens, grills, refrigerators, and dishwashers. Ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with all industrial kitchen equipment. Respond promptly to repair requests and resolve problems to minimize downtime.Installation and Calibration: Install new industrial kitchen appliances as needed, ensuring proper installation, calibration, and compliance with safety regulations.Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols for the use of all industrial kitchen equipment. Ensure all appliances meet safety standards and adhere to relevant regulations.Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of spare parts for industrial all kitchen equipment. Coordinate with Director of facilities and Director of Stewarding to ensure timely availability of necessary parts.Qualifications And ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical training in appliance repair, industrial maintenance, or related field is preferred.Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial laundry, gym and commercial kitchen appliances.Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in diagnosing and fixing issues with large-scale equipment.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for the installation and maintenance of industrial appliances.Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage inventory and keep accurate records.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Flexible schedule, including the ability to respond to emergency repair calls outside regular working hours.Physical AbilitiesExert physical effort in transporting 10 40 pounds. Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas. Be able to reach, bend, stop and frequently lift 40lbs Remain in stationary position for 30 minutes throughout work shift.Remain in upright position for 7-8 hours throughout work shift.
